Francie and Nate found out they were going to be parents soon after
they wed. Delia did a quick calculation and Francie was likely pregnant before the wedding, possibly conceived the day Nate proposed to her. But then, Delia was pregnant when she married
Nicholas so she just let it go and besides, Francie simply glowed. How could she judge her.
The newlyweds were obviously very happy and very much in love with each other. It did Delia good to know her daughter had found this with Nate. It had been the right thing for Francie to leave the house where Nicholas died. Nate was doing well at the Science
lab so they decided Francie would stay home to take care of their baby.
Delia was making good progress at her job with the fortune tellers and very close to gaining access to the vault where documentation of supernatural and mystical activity was maintained.
Now that she was alone again, she found she had more time to make potions. GOOD ones only! She made friendship potions, cure potions, potions that helped you focus so you could learn faster and potions that energized you among just a few. She made nothing that could be used for evil like vampires bite – that just made her shiver remembering the girl back in Appaloosa Plains!
She made sure every full moon to cure the zombies that would roam in her yard trying to get to her garden. That made her feel like she was at least doing good with the special abilities she had been 'cursed' with. 
Soon Francie and Nate's baby was born. Delia now had a grandson. They named him Nick in honor of Nicholas. Francie was such an attentive and good mother to baby Nick.
Delia was thrilled that she was able to be around
to get to know him. Her heart hurt a bit knowing that she never got to know Daniel and Lianas baby. No more running away from
her family this time!
