Delia was invigorated and a little taken aback. Yes, the
potions were real and VERY powerful.
The potion had worked on her. It
was good because she knew she would be around to care for her daughter, but at
the same time it meant she would never have a relationship with her boys
again. My goodness, she was now the same age as or younger than they were. She hadn't thought about that, but then she probably would never see them again anyway. How would she explain Francie?
Delia continued to touch base via email now and then, but would never be able to go
back. She had their pictures on her
dresser but now it was time to move them to her hidden room. She couldn’t have Francie, or anyone else for that matter, asking
who they were. She had to try to forget, move on and make that new life.
She was young now and Francie was growing up and needed a father.

Yet, in spite of her new younger self, Delia was still taking the dating thing slowly and she continued to spend her free time bonding with her daughter and used that as an excuse not to date. Francie was almost three years old and was an eager learner and sweet child. She looked so much like Francisco. Yes, there was no denying that he was Francie’s father.

Because Francie really didn’t have any friends her age, she had become a bit clingy. She always wanted to be near Francie. She had become overly excitable about everything. Francie always claimed there were monsters under her bed so she was constantly climbing into Delia’s bed. Since Francie was starting school now, Delia hoped as she began to make friends her own age, that she would start to develop some independence.
